School Profile

 

North Star Public School exists within the village of North Star. The nearest major towns are Goondiwindi to the north (50 kilometres) in Queensland or Moree to the South (95 kilometres) in New South Wales.
North Star is like many small communities. It has a history of pioneer settlers with generations of families who have worked, married and had their families here.
The village has a population of 86 residents and contains a general store, sporting club, hotel, school, church and post office.
Our school is classified as a PP5 and currently has an enrolment of 50 students. Classes range from Kindergarten to Year 6.
